This close up pic was taken of me this afternoon.
Some people have been saying lately that I have been starting to look younger since losing this weight? Hm...you can be the judge...look at my first pic and compare..you will notice that my face DOES look alot different..(and no I am not talking about the obvious, which is the older one looks fuller )...look at my eyes in this pic, how bright they are, my skin so clear, and even my hair looking so healthy!! Not to mention that there is just a natural glow about me, such a happier look.....so...there you go ladies/men, obvious reasons once again to start making yourself healthy today inside and out!! Remember...most important fact.. When you make a change to nourish your body with the right HEALTHY foods, instead of eating all that junk that is out there that WE ALL are addicted to in some way or another....it will make a huge difference in the way your outside will look...... 4 months of eating purely natural, NOTHING other than "good for me" foods, alot of water, along with working out 5 days a week ..this has so far in just 16weeks, has been the result .......so far!! Imagine later on!!
*You know, I was telling my trainer yesturday..something I felt so strongly about that I would like to share with all of you! Something I think is so important!
I mentioned to him just how much I appreciate and thank him for getting me on this NEW path of healthy eating now, I couldn't stress that enough!!..and how "not having any bad foods AT ALL throughout this transformation journey"..has changed my way of eating, and my thoughts regarding eating.... COMPLETELY..100%. It has made a GREAT start to my new healthy life which awaits.
Healthy foods are ALL I know now, this all comes when all you do is eat right... day after day, it is something you just learn and something that becomes the norm!! It is like your thoughts on foods just get reversed and reset in your brain, the way they need to be!
Although as I sit here and look back, I recall a time,(which wasn't really that long ago) the old person I once was, completely opposite than today. The way in which I ate, the garbage food I allowed into my body!! The way I OVERATE all the time, NEVER took any time out of my day to exercise!
But when resisting those foods..as time goes on..you become so strong, and you don't need NOR want those foods anymore! And as you get used to working out everyday...that too becomes a whole new healthy habit..it just makes you feel so great afterwards! Now that I think about it, I am not sure if I am just addicted to working out ...or ...if I am addicted to the feeling I get after my workouts, because it is like a natural high you are on!
It was hard in the beginning to go without ANY cheat days, I cant lie to you all about that..not even to have one bite of anything, (actually it was more like torture for the first little while)..lol..but, believe it or not, it just got easier and easier as time went on, until I got to the point, where it did not bother me at ALL! And has not bothered me since!
If you find yourself in the same boat that I was in, and would like to break free from this addiction to bad eating habits, a problem I am sure most people have by the way in one form or another..the best way to tackle this problem, is to just NOT HAVE ANY OF THEM, I cannot stress that point enough, to act as though those sorts of foods no longer exist.....this is what saved me!
My trainer knew what he was doing obviously..because although at the time I didn't understand why he was so strict, why is it that I couldnt have that one day a week cheat like many others on their "so called diets?"..has now become so obvious to me.....
***I dont even want those foods anymore!!!..sometimes I want more of my OWN foods..but thats it...(but what IS funny...that I do LOVE the SMELL of bad foods)smiles..I always want to smell them...!lol I don't really know why! Even though I have no real WANT for them..the smell when it comes around, if someone is eating something like that..I just want to take a moment to smell!smiles
And to think...there are no calories in the pleasure of smelling...that is a GREAT THING!!:-).
Anyways, just thought I would pop on tonight, chat a bit with you all.... And if you have not started to change your lifestyle yet....I am still waiting for YOU to hop aboard! No one can do it except for yourselves....remember..a new life awaits ...

re: smell. I used to be a pack-a-day smoker and although it is over 20 years since I quit, there are still times when I walk by a smoker that I just inhale the smell with fond memories. I will NEVER go back, but the odor of that first inhalation, a combination of the smell of the match and the first whiff of tobacco, is still in my mind. Ditto with walking by McDonalds. smile
