Good Monday morning friends! We have a gloomy kind of day starting here, with some ice rain on the roads that I just got home from driving in, safely thank goodness!
I have decided to start going to the gym first thing in the morning again to do my cardio, which is where I just got back from. I just find it just gets me off on the right foot when starting my day, and I love starting my day off right!
But, later on this morning, I will be back at my "other" gym "Free form fitness" to do my weight training session before heading off to work. The 3 days a week when I weight train, (Mon, Wed, Fri)they are going to be tougher days since I have decided to do 5 days a week of cardio instead of just the 2. But, no matter what, I still have have a personal responsibility to include my weight training as an extra... during 3 of those days! Am i crazy..maybe..but i feel like I can do it so why not try:) I like to push and challenge myself now, whenever i can. Usually my trainer never encouraged me to do so much cardio, but I have taken initiative and told him this is what I want to do, at least until my half way mark which is april 18 give or take. Just to see how my body responds to the change. So this morning was the first of many mornings to follow. And this will also be a nice thing for my trainer to see, as far as how this works with someone when weight training. It may turn out great, or i may burn myself out..time will tell I suppose.
So other news....it looks like I am starting to drop again...key word looks:)
I am not going to get all my hopes up but the scale this morning read 211lbs(now 64lbs lost in total)just in case you all don't remember I did start at 275lbs when beginning this transformation..so if everything goes well hopefully the numbers will continue to go down in the next few weeks.
I know that probably the biggest reason for the recent stand still in weight which has lasted almost 2 weeks was because of the new diet, and even though I dropped like 4lbs since last monday, I still can't help but carry around a dissappointment. I suppose because this is the first time regarding this transformation that I had to wait that long before seeing a change start to happen again.
But such is life. I am just happy that I was strong enough to patiently wait, and continued on doing what I do..which is correct eating, carrying with me the same exercising drive since I had from the beginning, and not allowing the dissappointment get in the way of being the best I can be! Or, letting it put a damper on how I view life now, so differently regarding exercise and health.
I suppose I am already somewhat hooked on this new lifestyle. I mean the cardio part gets me full of energy that gets me through my day, the weight training makes me feel strong as I build muscle, and the eating, well it just makes me feel assured that I am only eating natures best, which is helping with the output my body is showing me! That is everything... from my hair, to my skin, my whole body.! Its been fantastic in that sense.
SO, we will see. My trainer and I are going to give this new diet another week and next monday see if I still drop in numbers, if I dont I guess there will be some little changes that we will have to make, to keep this journey going.
Anyways......Have a great week people. And I will talk to you all next Monday, and I will also be posting my 4 month anniversary photos next Tuesday!!! Can't believe that the time is already here once again. Wow these months are just flying by. I am however a little nervous about these photos because of the stand still i had...I was asking my trainer..what if they dont change this time since last? What if there is no change to post? But this is all part of my duty, to be able to show you all..even if there is no change, month to month photos...so we will see.
